From 59 students when it opened in 1964 – 1965, the establishment increased to more than 2000 in 2004, not counting interns.

The first promotion of 5th year medical graduates in 1971 had only 24 students. Those of the 2000s have an average of 300 students. From 1971 to 2008, nearly 7,700 medical thesis were held at the Faculty.
