Call for Proposals on AI & SRMH | AUB GHI – GHAIN MENA Hub

The Global Health Institute (GHI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is launching an OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS for projects submissions from institutions/researchers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as part of the Global Health Artificial Intelligence Network in the MENA region (GHAIN MENA).

GHAIN MENA is a 3-year project, supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and led by the E-Sahha/Digital Health Program at the AUB GHI in partnership with the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET) and the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).

GHAIN MENA serves as a hub that empowers researchers from different institutions of the MENA region to design, test, and implement responsible AI-based digital health interventions that aim to improve health outcomes in MENA.

This call for proposals is dedicated to research and innovation projects focused on AI-based interventions that aim to improve sexual, reproductive, and maternal health (SRMH) outcomes in MENA.

A total of 300,000$ will be awarded to six (6) applicants from MENA (maximum of $50,000 per project) to implement their proposed projects for a duration of up to 18 months.
